I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Library, Archives, and Information Studies at Pusan National University. I graduated with a PhD in Information Studies from the School of Information (Florida’s iSchool) at Florida State University. I’m interested in digital literacy practices and social information behaviors in popular media, such as persistent online games, young adult literature, graphic novels, music, and film. Work aside, I’m a father, husband, reader, game player, mountain biker, computer builder, metalhead, and enthusiast of anime, manga, manhwa, graphic novels, coffee, craft beer, and cats. I also dabble in cooking and singing, but not always at the same time.
